A car accident registered at 4:18 a.m. this Sunday in the area of Las Juntas in Abangares, Guanacaste, claimed the lives of six people. According to preliminary information there were 7 passengers in a pick-up car with capacity for 5 people. The car crashed into a tree for reasons currently under investigation. Five of the victims died at the scene as a result of the crash, a sixth one died as she was being transferred to the hospital and one man, apparently the driver, is currently reported stable at the medical center.
